Technical Product Trainer

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, self-driven software trainer responsible for taking the product suite training to the next level. The Software Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to ensure effective use of software applications by employees, clients, or partners. The role involves creating user-friendly training materials, conducting workshops, and providing ongoing support to improve user proficiency and adoption of software systems.


Duties:

  • Coordination of all internal and external training in conjunction with the documentation team
  • Conduct in-person, virtual, and hybrid training sessions
  • Customize training approaches based on learner needs, technical proficiency, and industry requirements
  • · Design and update training materials, including video tutorials and presentations
  • Manage, plan, co-ordinate and conduct the training of new OPSI employees and clients on relevant OPSI products as well as associated software technologies
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure training content aligns with software updates and enhancements
  • Develop hands-on exercises, case studies, and quizzes to reinforce learning
  • Continuously assess and update training material to match the current release and ensure examples track accordingly
  • Work with stakeholders to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Conduct post-training surveys to evaluate learning effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report on training program performance to management
  • Manage the creation of case studies, project credentials and supporting marketing material
  • Design of brochures, pamphlets, advertisements, pull-up banners, exhibition- and marketing material
  • Maintain a register and ensure that purchased stock materials (website templates, photos, images, graphics, videos, etc) are appropriately controlled and managed according to their licensing requirements
  • Maintain an internal and external training register
  • Management of the LMS


Requirements and Skills:

  • Training experience within a software development environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in:
  • Configuration and setup of an LMS
  • Technical product training
  • Different types of diagrams e.g., ERD, UML, Process Flow, CRC, etc
  • SharePoint
